1. Data controller
Mexico Land & Property AB S.A. de C.V. (RFC MLA120424EE0), located at Carretera Oriente #57, Local 1, Ajijic, Chapala, Jalisco, C.P. 45920, is responsible for your personal data. This company operates the sites and brands BIENCOM, Biencom Commercial, CheapSayulitaCondos, Legado Patrimonial, its main website www.biencom.mx, and its offices in Lake Chapala, Puerto Vallarta and Barra de Navidad.
This notice is issued under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, the Federal Law for the Prevention and Identification of Transactions with Illicit Funds, the Federal Consumer Protection Law and other applicable laws.
2. Data we collect
Through this website: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, your message and the property you are interested in.
If you buy, sell or rent with us: full name, date and place of birth, nationality, marital status, occupation, ID details, immigration status, asset, financial and employment information, and any other information needed to market or transfer real estate.
We do not collect sensitive personal data through this website.
3. Purposes
Required purposes: answering your inquiries, scheduling viewings, following up through our advisors, preparing and fulfilling real estate marketing, sale or lease agreements, and meeting our legal obligations.
Additional purposes: sending you properties, pre-sales and developments that may interest you, including from our other brands. To opt out, email cgruenwald@switaki.com. Opting out will not affect the service you receive.
4. Use across our brands and transfers
All the brands listed belong to the same company. Your details are kept in one client database so the advisor at the office nearest the property you're interested in can help you.
We share your data outside the company only when needed for the transaction you requested or when required by law: with tax, administrative and consumer protection authorities, notaries public, and banks, trusts (fideicomisos) or other entities involved in the transaction. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, withdraw your consent or limit how we use it. Send your request in writing to Carretera Oriente #57, Local 1, Ajijic, Chapala, Jalisco, C.P. 45920, by email to cgruenwald@switaki.com, or call (376) 766-1186. Include your name, a copy of your ID, a clear description of your request and how we should reply. We will respond within the time limits set by law.
If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may contact the competent Mexican data protection authority (currently the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno).
6. Cookies
This site uses its own cookies to remember your language and keep forms secure. It may also use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) to measure visits and clicks in aggregate. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
7. Security and retention
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your data. We keep it for as long as we work with you and for the periods required by tax, commercial and anti-money-laundering laws, and then delete it.

Any changes will be posted on this page and on www.biencom.mx.
